Here we are at the start of another (hopefully) busy year for our club. During January we had a good turnout at our annual New Years Day Cobweb Duster at the Green Man at Lavendon. Thanks to Martin and Jackie for arranging the event. Lots of members went along to the Stony Stratford New Years Day event too – getting busier every year. Members are booked to go to Le Mans and Spa. I’m planning to get to the historic event at Pau – a hangover from the covid pandemic. I believe we’ve got at least 3 cars attending the Stoneleigh MG and Triumph Spares event in February. Not much else to say really. Look forward to seeing you all at our Inn on the Lake Club Nights and sharing ideas with everyone.
We had our Cobweb Duster run on the 1st of January to the Green Man at Lavendon with 15 members attending.
Most started at the Inn on the Lake for a leisurely run via Newport Pagnell and Olney but Terry and Alan met us there after attending the Stony Stratford vintage event first.
As usual the Green Man catered for us very well and after a good natter and of course refreshments we all trundled home.
Hope to see you all on the club night on Wednesday 1st February.
