July Events & Club Member Update
Unfortunately, Chiv and Martin have been taken ill and were in hospital, although thankfully both are now out and on the mend.
Martin had his operation on the Tuesday 4th July, just before our club night, a quadruple bypass and aneurysm repair. Jackie says he’s on the mend but in some pain.
Chiv is a lot better but still waiting for further treatment, he hopes to be about as soon as he feels better.
We all wish them both a speedy recovery and hope to see them enjoying their cars very soon.
We had six cars drive across to the Forest of Dean for the Cotswolds Caper.
Driving through the Cotswolds in an MG has to be one of lifes great pleasures. We all enjoyed the event (especially the cream tea at the end) and everyone took the opportunity to stay for at least a couple of nights in this
lovely part of the country.
It was great to welcome four new sets of members to the July club meeting.
Mark is in the final stages of restoring his old English White MGB roadster, Steve & Sue have an MGBGT and an MG TF, while Ross and Peter both have MG TFs.
It’s good to hear of MG TFs being used as daily drivers.
