The busy year continues. We started April with a run across to our friends in Aylesbury MG Club at the 5 Arrows in Waddesdon where there was a talk on keeping your cars safe from theft. It was fascinating, informative….and terrifying. If you’d like any information, please speak to Brian. The main suggestions were to buy a disklok, fit datadots and secure your garage.
The 10th April the club supported the 10th MK Classic Tour. 220 cars – a record entry. We saw a number of new club members joining in the fun. It was hectic at the start, at Millbrook, at Broughton Castle and at Silverstone, where Porsche did a marvellous job. Everyone seemed to have a good day out. Thanks to the MK MGOC marshalls, you were excellent. Mike and Alison are
going to be able to hand over £10,500 in equipment to Little Lives at MK Hospital. Just think how many babies have had a better and safer start in life over the last ten years.
Drive It Day proved a popular event with 15 coming along for a great trip across to Perry, near Grafham Water with lunch at the Wheatsheaf. Thanks again to Mike for route.
May 22nd will be our navigation / driving event requiring simple navigating skills, safe drivers and a sense of humour. Ending with Sunday Lunch.
Don’t forget we’ve got members joining the Rose of the Shires, the New Forest and the Cotswold Caper. If you’ve not done one of these events before, why not try one?
Also we have members going to Laon, Le Mans and Goodwood – always good fun.
