Thanks to everyone who came to the January meeting – it was good to see so many of you.
The January Cobweb Duster was a great success. We had 24 people at the red Lion in Milton Bryan. Mike Cornwell had arranged an excellent 30 mile drive for us before enjoying lunch. This is proving to be one of the most popular events of the year.
On Friday 12th February we are planning a trip to Towcester Racecourse for a dog racing night. Entry is free and there are places to buy food and drinks, as well as indoor heated areas to watch the racing. It should be a good night out. The plan is to meet at the Super Sausage car park at 7.15pm. The dog racing starts at 7.30pm till 10pm. I’ll send out a reminder nearer the time.
On Saturday 12th March we are planning a run across country to the Coventry Transport Museum, which looks really interesting. Entry is £5.00
We already have parties booked to go to the Le Mans Classic in July and the Goodwood Revival in September. So let us now if you’d like to join in.
I’ve attached the Events Calendar for the year so you can get the dates in your diaries now. It should be another good year for the club.
At the club meeting, Ian Whipp gave out MK MGOC mugs to those members who have paid their subs. The mugs are brilliant, Union Flag and classic steering wheel – well done Ian!
