Club Update August
It was good to see you at the Club Night last Wednesday 6th.??It was nice to welcome Ian Cameron to his first meeting with us ? he has an MGB plus two interesting cars, a 1946 MG TC & 1933 Austin 10 two seater, with dicky. Gary brought along a pedal box that he has hand built for his 1933 MG J2 car ? the project continues.
Club Update:
Nine members went to the Le Mans Classic in July. Some hardy folk were camping at the track while the posh folk were luxuriating at a converted mill…..ahhh how the other half lives! The event was excellent; some superb racing, beautiful cars and great French roads.
The Mid Month Pub Run on the 16th?proved very popular. Many thanks to Mike Cornwell who found an excellent pub and organised a beautiful cross country run to get there. How does he find all of these interesting country roads? There was a mid evening panic as everyone with roadsters rushed out to get their roofs up when it started raining.
On the 27th??we had our first???Scrabble Run?. It was great fun and everyone had a good time. After meeting at the Super Sausage for a slap up breakfast everyone received their instructions and headed out into the villages of Northamptonshire. The feedback was very positive ? with some saying it was better than the Hub & Spoke. We will certainly do another.
