With the new Covid-19 lockdown rules again playing havoc with our lives and runs, at least we are all safe at the moment. Lets hope the New Year will see an easing of restrictions and we can again enjoy runouts in our cars again.
Just a quick follow up on last nights (4th November) club meeting
We had a very good turnout of 14 people, having a final night out before the latest lockdown. It also had the added benefit of avoiding any mention of the American elections.
We spent the evening chatting and catching up on each other’s news. Very sociable indeed.
Everyone seemed very keen to go ahead with a Christmas Dinner at the Inn on the Lake. With that in mind, I will e mail Leigh (Landlord) and see when he thinks he can accommodate us. If you haven’t told me already, please let me know if you’d like to attend.
Ian W rightly reminded me that we should have an AGM, but we probably have to postpone it until the New Year. It’s good to have something to look forward to!
There was a lot of chat around events that we’d like to do in the New Year. Please let us know of any ideas you may have. 2021 should be a busy year for classic motoring.
Anyway, keep those fingers crossed for a vaccine soon
