The show is at Hall Park, Rushden from 11am until 4pm, a thank you to Geoff for sending this in.
Jackie & Martin and Yvonne & Ian we also met up with friends from Torquay as usual Nick & Ashley.
This was the first run since 2019 and the day was beautiful with around 150 MG’s departing from the Old Airfield East Boldre in a few minute intervals.
The 75 mile run was through some of the most scenic parts of the New Forest, arriving at Milford on Sea to afternoon tea, music and raffle prizes.
There were many comfort stops and plenty of baby animals, especially foals and donkeys. We stopped at a very nice pub called the Cuckoo Inn for a fantastic ploughman’s and small local cider, will keep this pub in mind for the future.
Martin & Jackie, Yvonne & Ian
We started at the Great Central Railway tea rooms Quorn, a lovely location with about 50 cars on a 75 mile trip through some of North Leicester’s beautiful countryside, there was a comfort stop at Calke Abbey for tea and cakes.
We finished at Stonehurst Farm/Motor museum, Mountsorrel, a nice stop with families enjoying the baby animals (Lambs, Piglets and Goats)
The weather was lovely and the car club made us very welcome.
Will put this in our diary for next year.

JUNE EVENT
MG LIVE! 11th 12th
At Silverstone. We know quite a few members are attending. Brian will be there on Sunday.
CLUB TOUR in July
Mike has kindly prepared a 50-ish mile tour for the club. We had a very poor response to our earlier e mail, so are suggesting we try and have it on a date in July.
The plan is a scenic, cross country drive with a lunch at our final destination, the Railway Centre at Quainton.
We have the option of running this in mid week, followed by a drive to a pub somewhere OR to run it on a Sunday, when the Quainton cafe is open until 4pm
ACTION REQUIRED: – PLEASE REPLY TO THIS E MAIL IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THIS EVENT
– PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU’D PREFER A WEEKDAY OR SUNDAY RUN.
