Enjoying MG March
The clocks have just changed, so hopefully the cold weather has ended and no
more salt is spread on the roads and we can begin to use our cars properly.
It looks like it’s going to be another busy year for the club – lots of
events already booked. Coming up in April we have the Kimber Run on the 16th,
the MK Classic Tour on the 23rd, organised by Mike and Alison with assistance
from Terry. As usual Mike will be grateful for support with marshaling. The
Bicester Scramble is on the 23rd. In May there’s the Charnwood Caper on the
7th, the Spa Classic on the 12th. We are planning to have our first Mid Month
Run of the summer on the 18th May– we’ll choose the venue at April club
night. Don’t forget we’ll have the special event being organised by
Jackie and Martin on Sunday 13th August – places are limited. Also in May
we have the 100th Anniversary celebration of MG cars, to be held at Gaydon
– looks a good event, so no doubt we’ll have lots of members attending.
