October Club Update
First of all, let me welcome new members – Antonio, Pasquale, Keith and Steve & Denise. Thanks to Ian for keeping everything afloat while I’ve been on holiday.
So, once again it has been a quite busy period with lots of events although we don’t seem to have as many attendees. Are we organising the right kind of events for you? I do hope that you will have come along to the AGM in November to let us know.
We went to the Kop Hill Climb – what a great event. We arrived early and had a great day admiring the cars, talking to owners and enjoying the sunshine. Delightful!
The Dog Racing at Towcester was good fun. By arriving early the party had the pick of parking spaces and a good table to watch the action from inside the marquee.
Chiv organised a great Sunday run to the Falkland Arms at Great Tew. What a lovely place! The perfect English country pub. The food was really good and they made us most welcome.
Unfortunately we have had to postpone the Fly a Flight simulator. Mark is having problems with delays to the building project, so it might not be till March 2017.
A number of members have attended the Autumn Gold and Cotswold Caper.
If anyone would like to the committee in any way, please let me know. We’re here to help you enjoy your classic car. Our annual Christmas dinner will be held on the club night at the Inn on the Lake. We intend to have our January 1st Cobweb Duster run. It has proved a relaxed and enjoyable way to start the new year, we hope you can join us.
