May Club Night Update
Sorry for the delay in sending this out, life is just too busy at the moment!
We had a surprisingly big turnout on 1st May for our Club Night. It was great to see so many of you.
Despite the rain, members are starting to attend a wide range of events.
April saw the MK Classic Tour. The weather was kind and we had a significant number acting as marshals as well as a lot of entries. As usual, Mike had prepared an interesting route with the opportunity to go round Millbrook, stop for coffee and cake at the Quainton Railway Centre and the finish with lunch at Silverstone Golf Course. Mike and Terry both deserve a medal for a well planned route!
Members also attended the MGCC MGB Register Spring Run, the Chesterfield Shakedown Run, a tour of Ireland.
In May we have members attending the Charnwood Caper, Batsford Arboretum, Rose of the Shires, Staffordshire Moorlands Run, the Jorvik Run, Best of British at Shuttleworth. There is also a gang heading off to Spa Francorchamps for the Spa Classic. (My favourite track) while Ron is off to the Laon Historique in France (a truly fabulous event).
June has member attending Classic Stony, New forest Run, Le Mans 24 hours, Ratae Run.
Do you want to have a Mid Month Run in May, or should we leave it till the 20th June?
It’s another busy year for the club, thank you.
