Enjoying MG October
Text for Enjoying MG:
Hello folks, it’s the end of October, the clocks have changed and the nights are drawing in quickly. Many of you will be putting your old cars away for the winter. So, we’re settling in to our usual winter routine,
starting with our AGM on the 6th November . Hopefully we’ll have a good turnout – remember, it’s your club and you need to let us know what you want.
The agenda will be: Year Overview / Club Officers / Finances / Club Night location / Looking Ahead / AOB
During October we had a late Mid Month Run to the Dolphin in Stoke Hammond. We’ll start them again in the Spring of 2025.
Coming Up: 8 – 10th November there’s a group heading to the NEC for the Classic Car Show – always a good event.
4th December we have our Club Xmas Dinner at the Crooked Billet in Newton Longville. (Note, as usual, we will not have a club night at the Inn on the Lake in December). Please make sure you have given us your menu choices.
1st January New Years Day Cobweb Duster. A run from the Inn on the Lake, across country to the Green Man at Lavendon. The pub always makes us very welcome. This is always an excellent start to the motoring new year and a return to sanity after the Christmas excess!
In 2025 we have members already planning to attend the many excellent MGOC club runs.
There are international runs planned to the 34th Laon Historique in France 7-9 June, followed by the Le Mans Classic 3 – 6th July.
It already looks like 2025 is going to be another bumper year for the club.
