Enjoying MG July

Enjoying MG:
I don’t want to tempt fate, but I suspect summer might have finally arrived, so hopefully plenty of opportunities to use our beautiful cars.
It was good to see so many MGs at the Inn on the Lake car park for our July Club Night – 22 members attending. It’s been a busy couple of months with members attending national and international events, including: Laon, Spa Classic, Jorvik Run, Rose of the Shires, Charnwood Caper, New Forest Run, Ratae Run, Cotswold Caper, Woburn Park Classic Car Show, Kimbolton Fayre.
We had a very enjoyable July Mid Month Run to the Navigation Inn at Cosgrove, a pleasant drive and a lovely location – we should definitely go back. We’ll plan our August Mid Month Run at our club night next week.
It was great to meet two new members, Ian and his son, Jack – with a pair of white MGB GTs (one being Jacks first car – excellent!).
Ian Whipp has a new supplier for club regalia, with a wide range of clothing available – email us if you’d like to order.
Coming Up August: 18th Flitwick Car Show, 13th Oakley Car Meet, 22nd Mid Month Run, 18th South Beds Classic Vehicle Show – Luton MGOC, 23 to 25th Silverstone Festival, 14th/ 15th, Kop Hill Climb. September sees the MK Classic – Last of the Summer Tour. Places are still available.
