CLUB NIGHT FOLLOW UP – NOVEMBER 2024

• It was good to see so many of you at the November Club Night and AGM

• It has been a busy year for MK MGOC Members with a wide range of activities and events attended – MGOC tours / Le Mans Classic / Laon Historique / Charity Runs for Little Lives and Abigail’s Footsteps etc. etc
• Brian and Ian are keeping the club ticking over, with support from Yvonne, however any support would be appreciated
• Club finances are healthy, but average membership has drifted down to 17 paid up members.
• Club Subs are to be kept at £10 p.a. – less than £1 per month
• The Inn on the Lake will remain as our meeting venue
• It was agreed to cancel the website when it comes up for renewal in 2026. It gets virtually no traffic, is challenging to maintain and costly.
• The charity run for Abigail’s Footsteps raised £1031.25. A certificate and Thank You letter have been received. Well done to Martin and Jackie.
• Christmas Dinner will be held on 3^rd December at the Crooked Billet in Newton Longville. A menu has been circulated – please send your menu choices to Yvonne at the club e mail address. 7.00pm for 7.30pm
• New Years Day – the Cobweb Duster is going ahead, with a run across to the Green Man at Lavendon. Either meet at the Inn on the Lake at Midday or make your own way there
• There will be a club meeting on January 7^th at the Inn on the Lake
• Events already being planned for 2026:
• New Years Day at Stony Stratford.
• 11^th January Bicester Scramble
• 8^th February MG & Triumph Spares Day at Stoneleigh Park
• 2-5th July Le Mans Classic
• 23-25th May Laon Historique
• August Charity Run for Abigails Footsteps
• 19^th April MK Classic Tour
• June / July / August Mid Month Runs
