June 5th Club Night Follow Up & Mid-Month run-out

Hi All,

Our June club night was a quiet affair with so many on holiday, Brian/Jenny in Norway Dave/Sue in Canada but we had 11 members attending and George Hunt who was making his first visit received a very warm welcome.
In May we had members attending four runs, the Spa Classic, Charnwood Caper North Leics, Rose of the Shires and Jovik Run in York, Ian/Yvonne should have attended this with Merv/Jeanette who said it was a great run with wonderful views, a 60 mile trip.
June is a quiet month, but we started early with Martin/Jackie, Ian/Yvonne doing the New Forest run on the 2nd, a great run as usual and meeting six friends from Torquay and two from Coventry. There was a greater number of entrants (187), this year, so plenty to see and people to meet.

We have the Ratae Run Sth Leics on the 9th which Geoff/Liz are doing.

We missed a mid-month run last month due to members being busy, so we now have two suggestions for Thursday 20^th June, the Navigation at Cosgrove, or a late suggestion of The Green Man Inn at Brackley Hatch.  Yvonne will book what the majority decide.
July we have the Cotswold Caper on the 7^th with three cars attending at present another great run. Then the Surrey Run on the 14th by the Epsom club, not sure if we have members attending? Also there is the Kimbolton show, with two of our members are attending. 
Mike Cornwell said there was an “inaugural static show” at Woburn on the 14th July and would like to invite members to attend, he will supply details which we will circulate.
