April Club Night Follow UP
Hi everyone,
We had a good March Event with a run up to the Coventry Transport Museum. A great day out and strongly recommended. It has been completely renovated with new exhibitions, great cars, motorbikes and bicycles. We had a late lunch before setting off home.
We started April with a run across to Aylesbury MGOC at the 5 Arrows in Waddesdon where there was a talk on keeping your cars safe from theft. It was fascinating, informative….and terrifying. If you’d like any information, please speak to Brian. The main suggestions were to buy a disklok, fit data dots and secure your garage.I’m trying to find out if we can get a discount for buying a quantity for club members. ACTION REQUIRED: Please let me know if you’re interested.
The 10th April saw the club supporting the 10th MK Classic Tour. 220 cars booked, a record entry. It was nice to see a number of new club members joining in the fun. We even got to see Ron C’s new MGA – yes, it really does exist! Everyone seemed to have a good day out. The MK MGOC marshalls were excellent, well done. Mike and Alison are going to be able to hand over £10,500 in equipment to Little Lives at MK Hospital. Incredible.
