Club Night 5th March & Report for April EMG

Our Club night on the 5th March saw a good turn out of 19 members, attending for a good natter, discussion on future event and runs that have already been booked.

Mid month runs are planned when the weather improves to a suitable pub and members were asked for suggestions, so we can plan ahead.
Dave & Sue did the MGOC run to Barnstable in North Devon and enjoyed it but was a bit cold in the mornings. They are also doing the MGOC run to Ireland in late April.

April will see our Mike & Alison’s, MK Classic Tour from Poplars Garden Centre to Silverstone Golf Club as reported last month, with a number of club members acting as marshals. Monies raised go as usual to Little Lives and the NeoNatal unit of Milton Keynes Hospital.

Enjoying MG for April Edition

 Enjoying MG:
Our first club night meeting for 2025 had around twenty five members attend, very enjoyable evening was had with discussions and lots of ideas being put forward for trips and run outs for the forth coming year including mid month runs to a Pub for dinner.

Liz & Geoff attended the Snowdrop Run on 15th Feb, Geoff said, very wet at
the start & finish, in between was lovely. Dave & Sue are doing the MGOC run to North Devon in March.

Our annual run, the MK Classic Tour is on 27th April 2025, starting at the Poplars Garden Centre, Toddington, then a stop at Millbrook testing ground for a couple of laps of of the Alpine circuit, this was used in James Bonds Casino Royal and the famous Aston Martin roll over crash. We then finishing
at Silverstone Golf Club.
The Rose of the Shires run on 11th May coincides with the Moor2Sea run.
The New Forest run this year on 1st June marks their 25th anniversary, our usual members are attending this. There are members who are attending Le Mans, their excuse to hop over the channel for a wine shop.
